洛杉磯湖人12日「背靠背」出戰波特蘭拓荒者，進攻明顯乏力，上半場團隊命中率僅37.5%，半場46：54落後。
第2節開局，林書豪依舊沒有發揮，7分35秒時就被換下場休息，湖人沒有太多小組配合，只能靠Ed Davis衝搶籃板後的二波進攻搶分。
不過主場應戰的拓荒者此節命中率也下滑，雖然成功利用擋拆作出空檔，把握性並不高，2分45秒，湖人Ryan Kelly飆進三分球，將落後追到8分差。
湖人上半場沒有任何球員得分雙位數，最高為Wayne Ellington的9分，拓荒者主控Damian Lillard與Wesley Matthews分別攻下11分與10分。
